About Us

Briscom was established back in 2003, we were a small family owned business
and worked from our garage for the first 3 years in business and in 2006 we took
the plunge and opened our shop front / warehouse in Sumner Park, and business is
growing strong.

In 2006, we found a need to do something responsible with all the old broken
computers and monitors we had acquired over the years as we knew they contained
dangerous and harmful toxins and should not be dumped into landfill.

This is when we launched our computer recycling division and have since
opened a larger warehouse to cater for the growing number of computers and IT
equipment being collected each week.

Briscom accepts all computers and IT equipment working and non working, any
age and any quantity. We accept from households, business and government
organizations.

What We Do

Computer Recycling

Does your business or organisation have unwanted computers laying around the
premises, taking up valuable space? If Yes, then Briscom have a quick and
easy solution.

Just one phone call and Briscom will come and remove your unwanted computers, we accept both working and non-working equipment. 
Working items of value may receive a rebate.

A drop off centre is also available at our Sumner Park warehouse,
open six days.

Recycling Computers in Brisbane

We will accept any computer equipment you no longer require, regardless of age or quantity. If you have a large quantity of items for recycling we can arrange pickup.

Where possible we will also recycle some components into other computers which helps to fulfill its useable life.

Computers and equipment that cannot be used again will be disposed of through appropriate recycling methods (metals/plastics). This is an important process we undertake instead of merely dumping these items at the tip to become landfill (which can be harmful to the environment as some elements of the hardware can be toxic). With the rapid turnover of IT products due to technological advancements (equivalent of 1/3 of the quantity of computers sold each year), it is an important step to take and you too can be part of this eco-friendly computer recycling process by simply contacting us.

Data Security
We also use high grade data wiping techniques to ensure your privacy and confidentiality is maintained.

Private customers may bring computers for recycling into our warehouse during opening hours.

Business and Corporate customers with redundant computer systems are offered a pick up service making it a quick and effortless task for you and your staff to recycle your unwanted computers, laptops and servers.
